 Agnijith is the healing and soothing skin balm given by Dr. Parameswaran Nair to people suffering from various skin problems. Transcript of the interview with Mr. M.T. Vasudevan Nair
Dr. Parameshwaran Nair is from my village and he gained deep knowledge in ayurveda through the gurukula system of education (ancient Indian system of education).
I have heard that, from generations the family has been treating burns and other skin related diseases effectively using a special ayurvedic medicine.
I visit my home town very occasionally.
Once I came to know about an incident where a group of children got severe burns on their body and many got burns on their faces. Later, when I visited my village and went to see these children I was astonished to see the way the burns got healed and this treatment was carried out by Dr. Parameshwaran Nair.
I told him that this amazing medicine should not be restricted to a small village; instead it has to reach out to the large group of people around the world who are in need of this.
I referred this medicine to my friends and also sent some of my friends to Dr. Parameshwaran Nair. They all received positive results.
Then I told him that we need to give this a little more publicity and propagation
As part of this effort I informed some my friends in newspapers. Journalists and others working in the science section of national dailies approached him and wrote about his miraculous medicine and its curative power.
This way the medicine got publicity and people who experienced its power started to spread the word as well, thus more and more people from around the world came to know about its value and started approaching him for treatment.
These medicines are ethnic to our villages and they are part of the traditional treatment method.
We feel that such traditional scientific knowledge should not fade away, but pass on to the next generation and thus we promote Dr. Parameshwaran Nair.
